An OGP (Open Graph Protocol) image is the thumbnail automatically displayed in link cards when a web page URL is shared on platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, or LINE. An attractive OGP image significantly impacts click-through rates, making it a critical element of web presence.
The recommended size is 1200x630 pixels (1.91:1 aspect ratio), which displays correctly across X, Facebook, and LINE. The image URL is specified via the <meta property="og:image"> HTML tag. JPEG or PNG formats are standard, with file size ideally kept under 1MB.
